Danielle (Dannie) has always loved fashion. As a young girl while all her sisters were reading about the adventures of Nancy Drew, she was flipping the pages of Vogue Magazine and dreaming about clothes.
Dannie used to spend every extra dollar she had on brand new clothes... until she discovered consignment stores in California. She loved buying the famous designers like Chanel and Armani at a fraction of retail prices. That's when Dannie fell in love with consignment clothing stores - and decided to open her own. She rolled into Duluth, October 1999, borne by a dream and a U-Haul truck stuffed with more than 6,000 women's garments.
The success of the 3,600 square-foot shop at 932 E. Fourth Street has encouraged over 5,000 local Duluth consigners to bring their gently used clothing and furniture to sell for a profit.
