In business for over 30 years, 2 shops in one location, 20,000 used, rare and out of print books. Vintage clothing, jewelry and accessories, china and glassware.
Originally called "The Academy" our historic
building has also been a church, townhall private theater and home to our antique and used bookstore for fifteen years. Surrounded by cut and faced stonewalls and shaded by 200 year old maple trees, the setting would have inspired Robert Frost. The original belltower still sits on the roof. Alas the bell is missing, but that's another story.
Located in the Historic District of the Village of Harwinton, Connecticut and listed on The National Register of Historic Sites. We have a perfect site for antiques and books. Come browse in our shop and enjoy a piece of history.
