When the shop first opened on Sacramento Street, it was an immediate success. Town & Country magazine quoted, Tony Hail, with his support and dry humor stating that the shop had "practically nothing ugly"... people were overwhelmingly pleased with the arrival of this one-of-a-kind boutique.
